Mediterranean garden style

Mediterranean style garden mimics the gardens, which are around the Mediterranean. The Spanish style and Italian style stand out. A true mediterranean garden can be formed only if climate conditions are mild enough to allow mediterranean plants to overwinter outdoors.

For a mediterranean garden are typical mediterranean plants such as olive, oleander, pomegranate, tamarix, lavender, sage, thyme, cypress and others. You can also plant a palm tree, but choose those species that tolerate slightly lower winter temperatures. Great importance have herbs that bring fragrance to the garden.

From the materials we use sand, baked clay and stone. Use this materials to build stairs, walls, paths and fences. Copies of antique statues and amphorae can have their place. Almost every patio has a pergola, under which runs wisteria, grapes or any other climber. Pergola creates necessary shade in the summer sun.
